holidays? no, thank you…

so, everytime i go on holidays, something happens..

like, in august, my ex-husband wiped clean my bank account (had to open the new account, but will never see that money again);

right after my car broke down, so had to borrow money to pay the mechanic (first-time-in-your-life-borrowing-money-hurts-like-hell);

this week took some days off to do some shopping (yeah, it’s either work or shop with my schedule) and – ta-da!- the car battery went down! i do have this sweet neighbour that gives me a car advice from time to time, so he gave a car a good push and i managed to drive to a mechanic 🙂 (gotta offer the neighbour some chocolates for Xmas).

anyways, had to pay a new battery…

what’s gonna happen during xmas holidays?

3 months later…

so, i’ve been pondering for 3 months “to write or not to write”. i guess there are two types of writers:those, who really write well and those, who feel lack of communication. i am the second type; though, considering my job (i am a teacher), there should be no lack of communication whatsoever. 🙂

well, i guess i do not communicate the info that really bothers/impresses me.

anyways, Christmas is coming, blah-blah…

i hate xmas and new year and birthday, any holiday, no, not like this…i started hating these days since i started living alone. 3 years next march 🙂

anyways, it takes a huge effort to decorate the house for xmas, so i’ve been thinking, to decor or not decor?

pros:

  • creates the spirit
  • creates the spirit
  • blah-blah

contras:

  • i am never home (teach from 9am to 10 pm)
  • my cats will probably destroy it
  • will have to clean up in the beginning of january

i guess, december 8 will be the day of decorating, as it is some kind of holiday here in portugal and i will onbviuosly get int0 xmas spirit by then 🙂

my farm

i love plants. I love gardening, doing it, reading about it, messing around, getting my hands dirty and so on. we say the real Ukrainian needs just a little soil to have a happy soul 😉

so, I live in an apartment, no way to have a garden..but, I have a balcony, so, here goes…

 beans

 pepper

pumpkin (one day)

  strawberry

 parsley

lettuce, lemon and two lazy cats 🙂
